Sixteen years ago, July 3rd, 1986, the following was in
the "Biblical Messenger". "What do you think"
"We
are living in a time when a great deal of stress is put
on our thinking. We are bombarded from every side with
advertising gimmick that would capture our thinking, and
cause us to buy a particular product - or idea. Our minds
are constantly pressured in many directions; some good,
wholesome & positive; others evil, unwholesome &
extremely negative. Does it matter which we allow our
thoughts to dwell on?
WHAT DO YOU
THINK?
If you think you are beaten,
you are.
If you
think you dare not,
If you like
to win, but think you can't
It's almost
certain you won't
Life's
battles don't always go
To the
stronger or faster person;
But sooner
or later the person who wins
is the
person who thinks he can.

I believe it is
extremely important that we allow only those positive
thoughts to dwell in our minds. Why should we be beaten
without giving life a real try? What do you think will
determine your success as a Christian. I know that
thinking is not enough, but "as a man thinketh in
his heart, so is he!"
David, a man After
God's own heart, knew the secret of success. He shunned
the negative and wrote, "..his delight is in the law
of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and
night" (Psalm 1:1-2) Now that's positive thinking.........."
