REMEMBER ALSO

>       Pray for Glynn Langston and the other missionaries who work so diligently to spread the Gospel to those who would otherwise not hear it.

>        Pray for the children's homes. It is from the youth of the land that our future leaders will come.

>        Pray for our own group of young people and let's encourage them in every way possible.

>        Pray for this congregation as we continue through this period of change. Pray that we will be successful in bringing lost soul to Christ.

Our thanks to Phil Hindlsey and Rich Offill for conducting our song services.

Congratulations to Lois Fergason who became a great-grandmother for the ninth time on Thursday, June 7.

Little McKenleigh Ann Hise was born to Steven and Laura Hise in Wichita Falls, Tx.

        All concerned are doing fine.

THE ROBIN

"Said the robin to the sparrow-

I should really like to know

           Why these anxious human beings

           Rush around and worry so."

Said the sparrow to the robin,

"Friend, I think that it must be that

           They have no Heavenly Father

Such as cares for you and me."

From the Pen of JOHN HOBBS....
I want to express my thanks and appreciation for your kindness shown to me and my wife. We look forward to getting to know everyone. May God bless you!

This Wednesday night, June 12, we will start a study of the book of Job in the adult auditorium class.

This Sunday morning, June 16, in the adult Bible class, we will begin a study of the book of John. Bring your Bible and notebook and let us seek an in depth study from the word of God.

On Sunday, June 16, I will begin a series of sermons entitled, "Know the Book." It is extremely important that each and every Christian strive to study, know and understand the Bible.

The Bible is our guidebook to heaven. The apostle said, "And now I commend thee to god and to the word of His grace which is able to build you up and give you inheritance among all them that are sanctified. (Acts 20:32). The apostle Peter commanded us to "grow in knowledge" (2 Peter 2: 18). Let us all strive to seek such knowledge by studying our Bibles diligently!

I look forward to seeing your smiling faces in Bible school.
